Mitch Gaylord
Mitch Gaylord   He was the first American Gymnast ever to receive a perfect score of “10” in Olympic history. Now, Mitch Gaylord shares insightful experiences in his inspiring and uplifting presentation, “Champion Results.” Gaylord first thrilled the world in 1984 as he the United States Olympic gymnastics team to its Gold Medal victory. In addition, Gaylord went on to capture a Silver for Vaulting and two Bronze Medals for Rings and Parallel Bars, making him the most decorated Olympic gymnast of all time.

As the number-one ranked gymnast in 1983 and 1984, Gaylord invented two skills now named internationally after him. To this day the Gaylord Flip and the Gaylord Two are considered two of the most difficult and spectacular feats in gymnastics.

After the Olympics, Gaylord was appointed to the President's Council for Physical Fitness, in addition to fulfilling speaking engagements, endorsements and appearances across the country. In 1986, Gaylord made his acting debut in Columbia Pictures, “American Anthem.” In 1988, he hosted his own television series “Fan Club,” and went on to appear in several commercial ads including Levi's, Diet Coke, Nike, Vidal Sasson, Soloflex, and Texaco, among others.

Last year, in addition to being inducted into UCLA's Hall of Fame, Gaylord's talents were called upon by the producers of the blockbuster, “Batman Forever,” to be the stunt double for “Robin.” His recently released video series, “Amazing Fitness,” is currently in stores nationwide and has made him a leading authority on physical fitness. While not on the road speaking, Gaylord is currently writing his first book, which should be available by the end of the year. The autobiography, which was inspired by Gaylord's own six year search for meaning and purpose after his Olympic victory, is sure to be on the best-seller list.

Gaylord who was born and raised in Southern California, still resides there with his beautiful wife and two young children, whom he considers to be the true “10's” in his life. Mitch Gaylord draws from his personal experiences to share with his audiences how to achieve “Champion Results.”
