Marjorie Blanchard   Marjorie Blanchard has earned a reputation worldwide as a compelling motivational speaker, an accomplished management consultant and trainer, a best-selling author and an entrepreneurial businesswoman.

  In 1983, Dr. Blanchard was chosen “Speaker of the Year” by New Woman Magazine and American Express. In 1991, she and her husband, Ken, were chosen “Entrepreneurs of the Year” by the Johnson School of Business at Cornell University. For more than a decade she has been a popular faculty member of the Young President's Organization (YPO) International University. Her messages are profound in a practical sense and are consistently seasoned with humorous anecdotes. She is dynamic and inspirational.

  Co-author of “The One Minute Manager Gets Fit” (William Morrow, 1986) and “Working Well :Managing for Health and High Performance” (Simon and Shuster, 1985), she is well versed in a variety of topic areas and often speaks on leadership, customer service, empowerment, teambuilding, and managing and reengineering change and wellness. Her seminar, “Strategies for Balancing a Complicated Life,” has become increasingly popular in corporate, educational and association settings throughout the country.

  As President and Co-founder of Blanchard Training and Development Inc., she continues to work diligently in catapulting the company's growth and developing it into one of the premier management consulting and training companies in North America.

  She received her B.A. and M.A. from Cornell University and her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
