Ken Dychtwald
Ken Dychtwald   Over the past 20 years, Dr. Ken Dychtwald has emerged as one of the nation's foremost visionaries and leading authorities on the aging of America. He is a psychologist, gerontologist and author of eight books on health and aging issues, including “Age Wave: Bodymind, Wellness and Health Promotion for the Elderly, The Role of the Hospital in an Aging Society,” “Millennium: Glimpses Into the 21st Century, New Directions in Eldercare Services.” He is currently completing work on his new book titled “Middlescence.” He has written more than two hundred articles in professional journals and popular magazines and has been the feature subject in many prestigious publications including Inc., Fortune, Newsweek, Business Week, USA Today, Time, Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Advertising Age, and Modern Health.

  Dr. Dychtwald has lectured and presented seminars to more than one million people in the United States and abroad, appears frequently on television and radio shows nationwide and has also served as a special advisor on aging issues for CBS News.

  After ten years as the nation's leading proponent of “healthy aging” within the not-for-profit aging network, Dychtwald went on to become founding president and CEO of Age Wave, Inc. In this capacity, Dr. Dychtwald has endeavored to apply the lessons learned from gerontology to the business development, marketing, advertising and employment policy concerns of many of the nation's leading corporations, including Johnson & Johnson, Eastman Kodak, General Motors, Coca-Cola, RJR Nabisco, American Express, Prudential, Warner Lambert and AT&T. Age Wave, Inc. recently received the “Small Business of the Year” award from the American Society on Aging for its exemplary contributions to the corporate and gerontologic communities.
